1BITCOIN HUB

About the Hub

A practical directory for finding Bitcoin and crypto tools, services and places to spend.

Three kinds of listing

Projects describe products, services and online stores. Merchant listings represent individual locations. Repository listings describe public source-code projects. Gift-card entries describe a purchase route through a provider; they do not establish direct crypto acceptance by the brand. A business with several branches can have several location entries.

Find what fits

Search names, descriptions, categories, tags and locations. Bitcoin is the default on the Hub home page; switch to All crypto to see the wider catalog. Use collections, compare services, or filter by network, platform, pricing, identity checks and custody. The merchant map also supports city and nearby searches.

How records are published

Background imports validate structured fields and merge matching project links. Source warnings, incomplete repository records and suspicious names go into a private review queue. Editorial profiles have authored explanations and facts with supporting sources. Suggestions go through human review. Imported profiles show their source and refresh date; they do not claim an independent security audit.

Useful facts, clear limits

Custody, identity checks and pricing show “Not checked” when we lack a current source. Network support is source-reported. A working website does not prove a service is safe. Bitcoin uses proof of work, so staking and yield services are described separately from native Bitcoin.

Built to grow

Import jobs update the local catalog without slowing visitor requests. Public counts reflect published records. Duplicate projects, deleted source locations and review-only entries are not added to the published total.

OPENSTREETMAP / BTC MAP

Open merchant data

Merchant records use OpenStreetMap data through BTC Map. Missing countries can be inferred from coordinates using public-domain Natural Earth boundaries and are marked on profiles. The current derived merchant dataset is available under ODbL 1.0. Attribution and the original map record are shown on each merchant profile.
